Upcoming Workshops

JLR - September 26, 2017 - 5 comments

It was Hippocrates that said that all disease begins in the gut, he also said, ‘let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.’ It was with this in mind that my interest in Cultured and Fermented Foods began. The brain/gut axis is pivotal to our mental, emotional and physical health. Join me for one of my upcoming workshops and let me help you to get started on your journey to improved gut health.

You will receive comprehensive notes and guidelines. We cover a bit of science behind good bacteria and go over the basics applicable to setting up your own Cultured Kitchen. The workshops are interactive and we all get our hands messy. There is lots of tasting and chatting. My approach to health and wellness has always been that it should be achievable, sustainable, easy and most of all fun! I hope that this is what I will be imparting.

I’m very interested in learning more! My friend & I come to Hermanus annually for the Fynarts festival & would LOVE to meet up with you next time we’re there – June 2018. Would you be giving any short classes then?
    What is “kefir”?

Hi I live in Hermanus and would be interested in joining your workshop. I am also keen to get a scoby for kombucha- do you know where I can get one in Hermanus.

I dont make kombucha as I prefer the taste of jun. Jun is made with green tea and honey. Will gladly give you one. Contact me on my cell 0824131569 and we can arrange.
